Jonathan Cohn

is a senior editor at The New Republic, where he has written about national politics and its influence on American communities for the past decade. In 2007, Cohn published the popular book Sick: The Untold Story of America's Health Care Crisis--and the People Who Pay the Price (HarperCollins, 2007). He is also a senior fellow at the think-tank Demos and a contributing editor at The American Prospect, where he served previously as the executive editor. Cohn, who has been a media fellow with the Kaiser Family Foundation, has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, Newsweek, Mother Jones, Rolling Stone, and Slate.
