John Donvan

Moderator, Intelligence Squared US; Correspondent, ABC News

John Donvan is the moderator of Intelligence Squared U.S. debates, since 2008, an author, and a correspondent for ABC News for three decades. He has served as ABC’s White House correspondent, along with postings in Moscow, London, Jerusalem, and Amman. Early in his career, Donvan was a foreign correspondent for CNN and worked in local TV and radio. He is the co-author of In a Different Key: The Story of Autism and premiered his first one-man show, Lose the Kid, in 2013 in Washington, DC. Donvan is a four-time Emmy Award winner and was a National Magazine Award finalist in 2010.
