John Cary

Senior Program Officer, The Audacious Project, TED; Co-Founder and Partner, FRESH Speakers

John Cary is a senior program officer of The Audacious Project, a strategic philanthropy program managed by TED. He’s a philanthropic advisor to foundations and nonprofits around the world and curates and hosts events for TED, the Aspen Institute, and other entities. Cary also co-founded FRESH Speakers, a speakers bureau focused on diversifying thought leadership. An architect by training, he has devoted his career to expanding the practice of design for the public good. Cary is the author of two books, including Design for Good: A New Era of Architecture for Everyone, and his writing on design, philanthropy, and fatherhood has appeared in The New York Times, on, and others.
