Joe Louis Barrow Jr. is CEO of The First Tee, a nonprofit youth development organization using golf as a teaching tool, since 2000. He was previously president and COO of IZZO Systems and director of special projects and senior advisor to former Democratic National Committee chairman Ronald Brown. Barrow began his career with United Bank of Denver, before being selected among 40 business executives to participate in the Presidential Executive Exchange Program. He wrote a biography about his father, Joe Louis: 50 Years an American Hero and in 2011 was inducted into the National Black Golf Hall of Fame, joining his father on the 25th anniversary of the same recognition.
