Joan Dempsey

Executive Vice President, Booz Allen Hamilton

Joan Dempsey is an executive vice president in Booz Allen Hamilton’s defense and intelligence business, where she leads the firm’s National Agencies Account. During a 25-year career in the federal government, she served as deputy director of central intelligence for community management in the Clinton administration and as executive director of the Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board in the George W. Bush administration. Dempsey held multiple senior roles in the Department of Defense and was a naval reserve intelligence officer. In 2010, she served on the independent panel mandated by Congress to review the Defense Department’s Quadrennial Defense Review.
