Founding Principal, Studio Gang Architects
Jeanne Gang is an architect and founding principal of Studio Gang, an architecture and urban design practice in Chicago and New York. She works across project types to create places that strengthen beneficial relationships between individuals, communities, and environments. Completed projects including the Aqua Tower in Chicago, Writers Theatre in Glencoe, IL, and Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership at Kalamazoo College. Current projects include an expansion of the American Museum of Natural History in New York and the new US Embassy in Brasília. Gang has authored two books, Reveal and Reverse Effect: Renewing Chicago’s Waterways, and has taught architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology. She is a 2011 MacArthur Fellow.
