Jean Case

CEO, Case Foundation; Chair, National Geographic Society

Jean Case is CEO of the Case Foundation and chairman of the National Geographic Society Board of Trustees. An actively engaged philanthropist, investor, and a pioneer of interactive technologies, she was an advisor to the US National Advisory Board on Impact Investing, established by the G8, and sits on the advisory boards of the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society and Georgetown University’s Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation. Case and her husband Steve joined The Giving Pledge in 2010, publicly reaffirming their commitment to give away the majority of their wealth to charitable causes. She was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2016.
