Jason Pontin

Publisher and Editor in Chief, MIT Technology Review

Jason Pontin is editor in chief and publisher of MIT Technology Review, overseeing its websites, print magazine, videos, newsletters, business reports, and live events. He is also global chairman of its international entrepreneurial network, the MIT Enterprise Forum. From 2002 to 2004, he was editor in chief of Acumen Journal, which he founded, and from 1996 to 2002 he was the editor of Red Herring, a business and technology publication. Pontin has written for The New York Times, The Economist, Financial Times, Wired, and The Believer. A frequent guest on television and radio programs, he lends his expertise to media organizations, technology companies, and conferences around the world.
