Jamison Monroe is founder and CEO of Newport Academy, a series of healing centers for teens and families struggling with mental and behavioral health issues, and co-founder of drugsoverdinner.org. An executive producer of Behind the Orange Curtain, a documentary about prescription drug abuse among youth, he is a regular national news contributor on adolescent mental health and has testified in front of the UK Parliament on teen prescription drug abuse. Monroe, who is in long-term recovery from depression, trauma, self-harm, and substance abuse, serves on the boards of the Inspiration Foundation and Global Adolescent Project. His accolades include the Mona Mansell Award from the Freedom Institute.
