Gillian Tett is US managing editor of the Financial Times, where she writes weekly columns and has held several roles, including markets editor, deputy editor of the Lex column, Tokyo bureau chief, and London-based economics reporter. Tett is the author of The Silo Effect, Fool’s Gold (2009 Spear’s Book Award for Financial Book of the Year), and Saving the Sun. Her numerous honors include Columnist of the Year, Journalist of the Year, and Business Journalist of the Year by the British Press Awards, the Royal Anthropological Institute Marsh Award, a SABEW Award for best feature article, and Senior Financial Journalist of the Year by the Wincott Awards.
