Gillian Tett is the editorial board chair and U.S. editor at large of Financial Times. She writes weekly columns on economic, financial, political, and social issues and is the co-founder of the Moral Money newsletter. The U.S. managing editor from 2013 to 2019, Tett’s past roles at the publication include assistant editor for markets coverage, capital markets editor, deputy editor of the Lex column, Tokyo bureau chief, and reporter in Russia and Brussels. She is the author of The Silo Effect, Fool’s Gold, Saving the Sun, and Anthro-Vision: A New Way to See in Business and Life. Tett has been named the 2023 incoming provost of King's College, Cambridge, and 2017 commentator of the year by Editorial Intelligence.
