Farai Chideya is a fiction and non-fiction author, reporter, and broadcaster who brings the human experience alive in media. She has interviewed billionaires and politicians; white supremacists and murderers. She believes that embracing our shared humanity is crucial to journalism. A former on-air reporter and host for ABC News, CNN, and NPR, she is developing new projects for public radio and writing two books on the future of work. Farai is a distinguished writer in residence at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.
