Lauder is also the founder of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which has raised more than $280 million to support critical research across the globe. Lauder is also the co-creator of the Pink Ribbon, the worldwide symbol of breast health. Lauder drove the fundraising behind the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Cancer Center in New York; it is now a model for similar facilities around the world. She has received numerous awards, including France’s Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur and the American Society of Oncology’s Partners in Progress Award. Lauder is also an accomplished photographer; her latest exhibition is Beauté et Sérénité.
