Erin Sauber-Schatz

Erin Sauber-Schatz is the team lead of the Transportation Safety Team in the Division of Unintentional Injury Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She began her career at CDC in the Epidemic Intelligence Service working at the Florida Department of Health with a focus in maternal and child health. She has served as an epidemiologist on the Transportation Safety Team with subject matter expertise in child passenger safety and safe teen driving, including the Parents Are the Key campaign, CDC’s national campaign to increase awareness among parents of proven steps to keep teen drivers safer. Sauber-Schatz is a commander in the US Public Health Service.
