Erika Christakis

Erika Christakis is a lecturer at the Yale Child Study Center, where she teaches undergraduate courses in child development and education policy. She has decades of experience as a teacher, program director, school consultant, and college administrator. Her knowledge of collegiate life was honed by four years as co-master of one of Harvard’s twelve undergraduate residences, where she lived among 400 undergraduates and served on the university’s executive committee for alcohol and drug services. Christakis was a weekly contributor at TIME.com. Her work on the developmental needs of children and young people has been featured in various media outlets.
