Senior Vice President, Programs, Environmental Defense Fund (Festival Underwriter)
Diane Regas is executive director of Environmental Defense Fund, the organization’s No. 2 position to which she was named in May 2015. She joined EDF in 2006 and initially served as senior vice president for programs. Prior to that, Regas spent 20 years developing scientifically sound responses to environmental challenges at the Environmental Protection Agency, where award-winning work protecting and strengthening rivers, lakes, bays, and oceans defined her tenure. As a senior policy analyst for President Clinton, she advised the president, through the domestic policy advisor, on environmental and natural resource issues. She also chaired President George W. Bush’s interagency task force on oceans.
