Dele Olojede is a writer, publisher, and editor, as well as an entrepreneur, public speaker, and moderator of Aspen Institute leadership seminars. Over his 35-year career, he was most recently the publisher of NEXT newspapers in his native Nigeria. Prior to that, he was foreign editor at New York Newsday, where he previously served as bureau chief in Beijing, Johannesburg, and elsewhere. Olojede is the first African Pulitzer Prize winner, which he received in 2005 for a series on the aftermath of the Rwanda genocide. He also received the 2011 McNulty Prize and the 2010 Prize for Ethical Business Leadership from the Global Forum for Ethics in Business.
