Deborah Clark is vice president and executive producer of the “Marketplace” portfolio of programs, including “Marketplace,” “Marketplace Morning Report,” “Marketplace Weekend,” and “Marketplace Tech.” Her radio career has included work on National Public Radio’s “Day to Day,” “The Takeaway,” “Weekend America,” and other programs. From 2001-2006 she was senior producer for an issues-oriented television program called “California Connected.” She also serves as an ongoing consultant for Youth Radio. Clark is the recipient of numerous journalism awards including an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Silver Baton recognizing excellence in broadcast and digital journalism in 1998, and the George Foster Peabody Award in 2000. She is a native of Great Baddow, England.
