is executive director of Robin Hood Foundation, a post he has held since the Foundation's inception in 1989. Robin Hood finds and funds the most effective programs helping New York's two million poor residents break poverty's stranglehold. Saltzman operated the Robin Hood Relief Fund to aid poor and low-income victims of 9/11. In addition, Robin Hood staged the Concert for New York. Prior to joining Robin Hood, Saltzman served as the special assistant to the president of the Board of Education of the City of New York. He also ran AIDS education programs for the New York City Department of Health. Saltzman began his career working with homeless families for New York's Human Resources Administration. He serves on a number of boards of directors, including the board of the Brazelton Foundation and 501click.
