David Folkenflik

David Folkenflik is the media correspondent for NPR News, since 2004. His stories, analyses, and commentaries appear on such shows as “All Things Considered” and “Morning Edition,” and he writes columns and articles for NPR’s website. Folkenflik previously covered media and politics for the Baltimore Sun. He’s the author of Murdoch’s World: The Last of the Old Media Empires and editor of Page One: Inside The New York Times and the Future of Journalism. A frequent commentator in news outlets, Folkenflik’s recognitions include the National Press Club’s Rowse Award for Press Criticism, Penn State’s Bart Richards Award for Media Criticism, and one of Business Insider’s 50 most influential people in American media.
