David Eagleman

Neuroscientist; Adjunct Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Stanford University School of Medicine

David Eagleman is a neuroscientist, professor, and director of the nonprofit Center for Science and Law. He is the writer and presenter of the PBS series “The Brain with David Eagleman.” As an adjunct professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, his research encompasses time perception, vision, synesthesia, and the intersection of neuroscience with the legal system. Eagleman has authored several books, including The Brain: The Story of You and international best-sellers Sum and Incognito. A Guggenheim Fellow, he is vice chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Neuroscience and Behaviour and chief scientific advisor for Mind Science Foundation. He appears regularly on NPR and the BBC.
