David Coleman

President and CEO, College Board

David Coleman is the ninth president and CEO of the College Board. He was a founding partner of Student Achievement Partners, a nonprofit education organization that played a leading role in developing the Common Core State Standards in math and literacy. Coleman previously co-founded the Grow Network, an organization committed to making assessment results truly useful. He has been recognized as one of the POLITICO 50 for 2014, was named to the 2013 TIME 100, was a 2012 NewSchools Venture Fund Change Agent of the Year, was recognized as one of TIME’s 11 Education Activists for 2011, and was a Rhodes scholar.
