Cristina Jiménez

Co-Founder and Managing Director, United We Dream

Cristina Jiménez is co-founder and managing director of the United We Dream Network, the nation’s largest youth-led immigrant network. She was part of the team that successfully campaigned in 2012 for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which protects more than one million young immigrants from deportation, and later the Deferred Action for Parental Accountability program to protect immigrant parents. She co-founded the New York State Youth Leadership Council and the Dream Mentorship Program at Queens College. Jiménez moved to the United States from Ecuador with her family when she was 13 and attended high school and college as an undocumented student.
