Senior Advisor to the CEO, Microsoft Corporation

Craig Mundie is senior advisor to the CEO of Microsoft Corporation. Prior to his current role, he served as Microsoft’s chief research and strategy officer. He joined Microsoft in 1992 to develop non-PC software platform technologies. Mundie has spent his career building startups in various fields, including supercomputing, consumer electronics, education, health care, and robotics. He has long been Microsoft’s principal technology-policy liaison to major governments. He is a member of President Obama’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, the Markle Initiative for America’s Economic Future, and serves on the board of the Institute for Systems Biology.
