Courtney E. Martin is an author, entrepreneur, and weekly columnist for On Being. She is co-founder of the Solutions Journalism Network and of FRESH Speakers Bureau, a strategist for the TED Prize, and editor emeritus at Martin has authored or edited five books, including Do It Anyway: The New Generation of Activists and is working on a book exploring how people are redefining the American dream. Her work appears in national publications such as The New York Times and The Washington Post, and she speaks widely. She is the recipient of the Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics and a residency at Rockefeller Foundation’s Bellagio Centre.
