Clarence B. Jones is an adjunct professor at University of San Francisco and scholar writer in residence at the Martin Luther King Jr. Research and Education Institute of Stanford University. He served as political advisor, counsel, and draft speechwriter for King and had a successful career as an attorney, entrepreneur, and investment banker. A frequent public speaker, in 2017 Jones began visiting and speaking at prisons.He appeared in The March, a documentary on the March on Washington, is a regular Huffington Post columnist, and co-authored What Would Martin Say?, Behind the Dream: The Making of a Speech That Transformed the Nation, and Understanding Attica. He is writing his autobiography.
