Chrystia Freeland is managing director and editor of consumer news at Thomson Reuters. In this role, Freeland has editorial and commercial control of the company’s consumer online, mobile, and digital properties, including Reuters.com and its global suite of websites as well as mobile news applications. Before joining Thomson Reuters in 2010, Freeland was US managing editor of the Financial Times. She is the author of two books, most recently Plutocrats: The Rise of the New Global Super-Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else.
