Charles Kenny

Senior Fellow, Center for Global Development; Author, Getting Better

Charles Kenny is a senior fellow at the Center for Global Development and a Schwartz fellow at the New America Foundation. Previously, he worked at the World Bank, managing projects and research in infrastructure as well as governance and anticorruption. He is the author of Getting Better: Why Global Development is Succeeding and How We Can Improve the World Even More and (with Anthony Kenny) Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Utility: Happiness in Philosophical and Economic Thought. He is a contributing editor and columnist at Foreign Policy, and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Happiness Studies.
