Head of Global Policy, Google
Caroline Atkinson is head of global policy at Google, advising leadership on policy and working with policy makers, government officials, and political stakeholders. Prior to joining Google, she served as President Obama’s deputy national security advisor for international economics, supporting him at economic summits and coordinating the policy-making process for international economic affairs at G7 and G20 summits. She helped drive global agreement on trade, employment, climate change, and the response to the Ebola crisis. Previously, she held senior roles at the International Monetary Fund, US Treasury, and Bank of England and was a journalist at The Washington Post, The Economist, and The Times of London.
