President, Movers and Shakespeares
Carol Adelman is president of Movers and Shakespeares, which conducts executive leadership training through the plays of Shakespeare, and is director of the Center for Global Prosperity at the Hudson Institute, where she writes and speaks on global philanthropy, economic development, and international health. Adelman was a presidential appointee at the US Agency for International Development, heading an aid program to Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. She serves on the boards of the American Shakespeare Center, Atlantic Council, and Capital Partners and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She is a recipient of the Heloise Waislitz Visiting Fellowship in Philanthropy at Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia.
