Arsalan Iftikhar

Human Rights Lawyer; Founder,; Senior Editor, The Islamic Monthly

Arsalan Iftikhar is an international human rights lawyer, global media commentator, and author of Islamic Pacifism: Global Muslims in the Post-Osama Era. As senior editor for The Islamic Monthly magazine, his media interviews have appeared in numerous media outlets around the world. Iftikhar was a contributing author to Taking Back Islam, winner of the 2003 Wilbur Communications Award for Religion Book of the Year. He was awarded the 2013 Distinguished Young Alumni Award from Washington University School of Law, and in 2006, the French ambassador to the Untied States selected him for the Personnalites d’Avenir (Personalities of the Future) World Leader Program in Paris.
