Angelica V. Hernandez

Angelica V. Hernandez is a 2014 graduate of Stanford University, having earned a master’s of science in atmosphere and energy, and a recipient of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). She immigrated to the United States 15 years ago with her mother and sister, growing up in Phoenix. Despite the challenges of constant fear of deportation, tripled tuition, and lack of scholarship funding, Hernandez graduated as a distinguished student of the mechanical engineering class of 2011 from Arizona State University. She is now ready to apply her skills and expertise as an engineer in the clean tech industry.
