Angela Diaz is director of the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center (MSAHC) and the Jean C. and James W. Crystal Professor in Adolescent Health, and Professor of Pediatrics, and Preventive Medicine. MSAHC provides free, comprehensive, interdisciplinary health services to more than 11,000 vulnerable and disadvantaged youths annually. Diaz is a former White House Fellow and now chair of the Board on Children, Youth, and Families of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies. She chaired the National Advisory Committee on Children and Terrorism and served on the NYC Commission on LGBTQ Runaway and Homeless Youth Taskforce.
