Andrea Mitchell is chief foreign affairs correspondent for NBC News and host of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports.” She appears regularly on “Nightly News,” “Today,” and “Meet the Press.” NBC’s lead correspondent covering Hillary Clinton’s two presidential campaigns, Mitchell has also covered the Reagan and Clinton presidencies, Capitol Hill, the State Department, and intelligence agencies, as well as conflicts worldwide, US policy with Israel and Iran, and a series of exclusive interviews with Fidel Castro. Author of the memoir Talking Back, Mitchell’s honors include the 2015 MATRIX Award from Women in Communications, the Goldsmith Career Award for Excellence in Journalism, and the Society for Professional Journalists’ Lifetime Achievement Award.
