Photojournalist, Documentary Producer
Andrea Booher is a photojournalist and film producer. She has worked as an international photographer for 26 years, traveling to East Africa, Somalia, Latin America, Micronesia, India, Antarctica, Australia, Myanmar, and Haiti. In the last two decades, Booher has covered every major disaster in the US and it's territories for the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Her work from September 11, 2001 was published in magazines, newspapers, and documentaries worldwide. Booher is co-producing a documentary about reconnecting with the first responders whom she met and photographed while working at Ground Zero. It will air on A&E as a two-hour special on this year’s anniversary of 9/11. Booher’s photography has been exhibited in the Smithsonian, Corcoran, Museum of Modern Art, and the International Center of Photography. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including National Geographic, TIME, Newsweek, LIFE, and The Atlantic, to name a few.
