Alonzo Plough is chief science officer and vice president of research, evaluation, and learning for Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a position he has held since January 2014. He was previously emergency preparedness and response director for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health from 2009 to 2013; vice president of strategy, planning, and evaluation for The California Endowment from 2005 to 2009; director and health officer for the Seattle and King County Department of Public Health; a health services professor at University of Washington School of Public Health; and public health director in Boston.
