Alan Khazei

Founder and CEO, The Action Tank; Co-Chair, Franklin Project, The Aspen Institute

Alan Khazei is founder and CEO of The Action Tank, a strategic consulting firm, and serves as co-chair of the Franklin Project on national service at the Aspen Institute. Khazei co-founded the national youth service corps City Year; helped lead the Save AmeriCorps campaign to restore and expand federal funding for its parent Corporation for National and Community Service; founded Be The Change; and mobilized citizen action to enact the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act. He is the author of Big Citizenship.
