Abigail E. Disney is a filmmaker, philanthropist, and CEO and president of Fork Films. Her passion for women’s issues and peace-building culminated in producing her first film, Pray the Devil Back to Hell, which won Best Documentary Feature at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. She executive produced the five-part PBS series “Women, War & Peace” and has produced numerous social-issue films, including 1971, Citizen Koch, Family Affair, Hot Girls Wanted, The Invisible War (a 2012 Academy Award nominee for Best Documentary Feature), Return, and Sun Come Up. She is founder and president of the nonprofit Peace Is Loud, which identifies and supports women resisting violence in their communities.
