What's the Big Idea?

Now in its sixth year, the Aspen Ideas Festival will gather scientists, artists, politicians, historians, educators, activists, and other great thinkers to present and discuss some of the most important and fascinating ideas of our time. The special focus this year is on IDEAS IN ACTION, spotlighting the cutting-edge (or timeless) thinking that translates into actions that make a difference. Participants contribute provocative perspectives from their fields and discuss global culture with a sophisticated audience highly motivated to engage in dialogue. David Bradley, Robert Steel Regina Benjamin, James Bennet, Olara Ottunu, Buddy Fletcher, Ayaan Hirsi Ali open the festival.
