Business investment, corporate profits, and stock market valuations are at all-time highs, while productivity and employment growth are in the doldrums. GDP and entrepreneurship are somewhere in the middle, not catastrophic, but not impressive. So is optimism or pessimism warranted at present? And is growth itself changing?
