By the People: Rebuilding Liberty without Permission

Have we come to the end of the American project as the founders intended it? Join social scientist Charles Murray, who worries that the essence of the American promise — liberty and the pursuit of happiness as the unalienable rights of all — has eroded with the rise of what he calls the “regulatory state.” Murray calls on civil society and the private sector to rebuild Americans’ traditional freedoms, arguing that the people have the power to put government back in its proper place.
