Government 2.0

The Obama administration has promised to improve government by enlisting technology. One of the most important lessons they can learn from Silicon Valley is how to act like a platform provider rather than a completesolution provider. Apple's iPhone inspired the creation of some 40,000 applications in less than a year - with only a tiny fraction of them created by Apple.
