John Cary

Co-Founder and Partner, FRESH Speakers; Co-Host, TEDCity2.0; Advisor, Aspen Global Health and Development, The Aspen Institute

John Cary is a writer, speaker, and curator focused on social change, with an emphasis on design for public good. He consults principally for TED as a strategic advisor to the $1 million TED Prize, curator of the TEDCity2.0 event series, and on special projects. In 2014, he launched with partner Courtney Martin the FRESH Speakers bureau. Cary is an advisor to the Aspen Institute’s Aspen Global Health and Development program, a global advisory board member of Possibility Health, and a member of the Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers design council. He authored The Power of Pro Bono and has written for The New York Times, among others.
