Schedule Changes and Security Information:

Due to necessary security measures for this afternoon's In Conversation with Vice President Joe Biden, the Koch Building will be closed until 11:30 am. This has necessitated several changes to the Saturday, July 2 schedule. Sessions formerly scheduled in that building have been moved to other locations on campus. Please consult the Festival app for the most up-to-date times and locations.

To enter the Greenwald Pavilion, Secret Service will screen and admit pass-holders through the Koch Building. Snacks and bathrooms are available once you are through the screening, but if you leave the secure area, you will be required to go back through the security screening process. Due to security protocols, we cannot serve lunch in the secured area. Due to the additional time required for to enter the Greenwald Pavilion, if you are interested in seeing the Vice President speak today, there are three scenarios you may choose from:

Option 1: Lunch and Out of Africa: Climate Change and the Migration Crisis with Thomas Friedman, followed by Vice President Biden

11:00am: Lunch Service will begin in the Paepcke Tent and Comcast NBCUniversal Ideas Pavilion.
11:30am: Secret Service will screen and admit pass-holders through the Koch Building into the Greenwald Pavilion.
12:30pm: Out of Africa: Climate Change and the Migration Crisis with Thomas Friedman and Sydney Trattner for attendees who have gone through screening will begin at 12:30pm in Greenwald Pavilion.
1:45pm: The Vice President's conversation with Walter Isaacson is scheduled to begin.

Option 2: Lunch and session with Newt Gingrich, followed by Vice President Biden

11:20am: Lunch Service will begin in the Doerr-Hosier Center.
11:40am: Newt Gingrich and Ann Korologos begin their session Trump, Sanders and the American Spirit of Rebellion at Doerr-Hosier Center, McNulty Room.
12:30pm: Secret Service will screen and admit pass-holders through the Koch Building into the Greenwald Pavilion.
1:45pm: The Vice President's conversation with Walter Isaacson is scheduled to begin.

Option 3: Lunch followed by Vice President Biden

11:00am: Lunch Service will begin in the Paepcke Tent and Comcast NBCUniversal Ideas Pavilion on the south side of campus.

11:20am: Lunch Service will begin in the Doerr-Hosier Center.
12:30 pm: Secret Service will screen and admit pass-holders through the Koch Building into the Greenwald Pavilion.
1:45pm: The Vice President's conversation with Walter Isaacson is scheduled to begin.

Please don't bring a bag to campus as it will slow the screening process. We appreciate your patience and look forward to an exciting closing day of the Festival!
