Aspen Lectures

The Aspen Lectures build upon an Aspen Institute tradition: thinkers presenting their best ideas to society to challenge and inspire us.  With these individual presentations, we gather some of the world’s brightest minds to share with us a subject or passion built of deep expertise from a lifetime of intellectual pursuit.  This year, the series will examine a variety of rich and varied topics, from the flexibility of modern language to the challenge of Trust; the relationship between national and personal crises, and how we adapt; the First Amendment to Narratives of Freedom; and, through the lens of an art historian, what divides us and what defines common experience.
