Walter Isaacson

Walter Isaacson is president and CEO of the Aspen Institute. He has been chairman and CEO of CNN and editor of TIME magazine. He is the author of Steve Jobs; Einstein; Benjamin Franklin; and Kissinger and co-author of The Wise Men: Six Friends and the World They Made. He is chair emeritus of Teach for America. Isaacson was appointed by President Obama and confirmed by the Senate as chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, a position he held until 2012.
