Ursula Burns is chairman and CEO of Xerox Corporation. She joined Xerox as an intern in 1980 and has held leadership posts spanning corporate services, manufacturing, and product development. She was named president in 2007, CEO in 2009, and chairman in 2010. Burns regularly appears on Fortune’s and Forbes’ lists of the world’s most powerful women and is a board director of American Express Corporation, Exxon Mobil, and the Ford Foundation. She has been appointed to help lead the White House national program on STEM and to chair the President’s Export Council. She also provides leadership counsel to MIT, the US Olympic Committee, and the National Academy Foundation, among others.
