Ronald Brownstein

Ronald Brownstein is political director for Atlantic Media Company, where he coordinates overall political coverage at its publications, which include The Atlantic, National Journal, Hotline,and Congress Daily; and also editorial director for National Journal Group. He writes a weekly column that appears simultaneously in National Journal and the Los Angeles Times, as well as articles in National Journal and The Atlantic. Brownstein was twice named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the 1996 and 2004 presidential campaigns.
