Former President, The Rockefeller Foundation

Judith Rodin is the former president of The Rockefeller Foundation, where from 2005 to 2017 she emphasized partnerships with business, government, and the philanthropic community to address the transforming of cities, securing livelihoods, revaluing ecosystems, and promoting health. Previously, she was president of University of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 2004. There, Rodin presided over an acclaimed neighborhood revitalization program in West Philadelphia. Earlier in her career, she was provost of Yale University. Rodin is the author of over 200 academic articles and chapters and has written or co-written 15 books, including The Power of Impact Investing and The Resilience Dividend. Her latest book is Making Money Moral: How a New Wave of Visionaries is Linking Purpose and Profit. Rodin is a member of the American Philosophical Society, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and National Academy of Medicine.
