John Danner is co-founder and CEO of Rocketship Education, a national network of high-performing K-5 charter schools with a mission of eliminating the achievement gap. Danner’s prior experience includes: chairman of the Charter School Resource Center of Tennessee, founding director of KIPP Academy Nashville, co-founder of the Sacred Heart Nativity School in San Jose, and co-founder and CEO of NetGravity, the first local ad server to place advertisements on the Internet. Danner is an Ashoka fellow, a Henry Crown fellow at the Aspen Institute, and the 2010 winner of the Institute’s John P. McNulty Prize.
